SmartCorners @RTR

Well, it is not (yet) the time for SmartCorners at the RTR (looking forward to the coming year where we hope to present SmartCorners) but still – we are there.

Still today and tomorrow, you have the chance to participate to the SmartCorners Stakeholder Engagement Questionnaire. Through this survey, we aim to gather valuable insights from stakeholders to better understand the challenges, opportunities, and expectations for implementing advanced vehicle technologies like SmartCorners. Thanks a lot to our colleagues from UEMI, Vera-Marie Andrieu and all colleagues present for preparing and conducting the survey with the participants and to Eric Armengaud for catching a moment to communicate about it.

When it comes to communication; we are looking forward to communicate the survey here on our website and on LinkedIn once the feedback from the RTR participants is implemented.

Networking Time

Past Thursday, the team from TU Ilmenau welcomed colleagues from Elaphe Propulsion Technologies Ltd. and Miguel Dhaens from HeronSports in Ilmenau for a SmartCorners networking meeting.

During a two days workshop they elaborated ways and possible research topics in which all partners are highly interested and willing to strengthen the collaboration between each other. Starting point was a presentation and ride demonstration of the AUDI etron vehicle, which has been built up within the EVC1000 Project as a case study on integrated motion control approaches based on in-wheel machines and X-by-Wire chassis actuators. Afterwards, we took the opportunity to visit our testing facilities, which are used for our own research as well as other public projects like HighScapeEM-TECH project or HiPE. At a joint dinner, we continued the discussions and exchanged personal insights and impressions too.

Summarized, the workshop was very fruitful and inspiring. Our team is already looking forward to future meetings of this kind. It was a pleasure for us to have you here.
